Azerbaijani MP: Armenian diaspora in West blocking peace efforts

Armenia needs peace, but the Armenian diaspora in the United States, France, and Belgium is obstructing the process, said Azerbaijani Parliament member Asim Mollazade.

Speaking at the second panel session of the international conference "France and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Conflict" in Baku, during a discussion on "France's Policy After 2020," Mollazade claimed that Armenians expect Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to secure peace, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

"However, the Armenian diaspora in France, the US, and Belgium opposes this. Their activities are built on hatred, and they benefit from this hatred," the MP stated.
