Azerbaijani MP: French resolution of no significance to Azerbaijan
The French Senate’s resolution aimed against Azerbaijan carries no significance, ensures Azerbaijan’s Member of Parliament Tural Ganjaliyev.
He stated this during an interview with Trend on December 1, further adding, that “the biased resolution was first adopted by the Upper House of Parliament (Senate). The fact that such a step was also taken in the lower house against Azerbaijan, and the adoption of this document by the legislators representing the Macron Party, shows that the French political establishment has completely lost its sense of reality and expresses a hostile position towards Azerbaijan. We reject the resolution adopted against Azerbaijan, which demonstrates a biased and clearly hostile position”.
The MP believes that the Azerbaijani policy towards France needs to be revised.
“France should be left out of the normalization process of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and excluded from all projects related to Azerbaijan. France is trying to claim the right of having a vote in the South Caucasus. If Paris expresses its intentions through such parliamentary resolutions, which are of no significance to us, it must know that it will have no effect. Azerbaijan is a strong country, and it is impossible to intimidate or exert pressure on it”, Ganjaliyev stressed.
