Azerbaijani MPs to attend Turkic States' Foreign Relations Committees meeting in Istanbul
Members of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Samad Seyidov, Chairman of Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties, along with MPs Javanshir Feyziyev and Nasib Magamaliyev, are scheduled to visit Istanbul on February 17.
The MPs will participate in the 2nd meeting of Committees on Foreign Affairs of Parliaments of Turkic States, Caliber.Az reports citing the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The meeting will focus on global and regional issues, ongoing conflicts, the geopolitical impact of artificial intelligence and technological innovations, and parliamentary diplomacy.
Additionally, the discussions will explore opportunities for cooperation between the parliaments of Turkic states, joint activities in international organizations, and other key topics of mutual interest.
The visit will run until February 20, the statement by the Milli Majlis said.
The first meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Turkic States was held in Baku on April 25, 2024.
Discussions were held at the meeting, and it was unanimously decided to hold the second meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Turkic States in Türkiye.
