Azerbaijani naval cadets undergo intensive practical training PHOTO/VIDEO

In keeping with the 2023-2024 curriculum and program of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, cadets from the Azerbaijani Naval Forces Faculty are participating in practical classes.

The cadets were first briefed on shipboard behavior and safety regulations, as well as the daily activities of the personnel, according to Caliber.Az via the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

During the exercises at the main command post, the cadets executed tasks related to the organization of control, preparing warships for march and battle readiness, and conducting technical and visual observations during movement using radar stations. They also practiced organizing signal communication with semaphore flags.

Additionally, practical classes held in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea focused on safety rules for controlling and operating engines in the ship's engine room.

The primary objective of this training is to further enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by the cadets throughout their education.
