Azerbaijani Navy commander meets Italian defence minister

Commander of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces (Navy) Vice-Admiral Subkhan Bakirov has met in Italy with this country's Defence Minister Guido Crosetto.

Bakirov visited this country at the invitation of Italian Navy Commander Admiral Enrico Credendino, Caliber.Az reports citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

Bakirov, who participated in the opening ceremony of the 8th "Seafuture 2023" International Maritime Defence Exhibition held at the La Spezia Naval Base, met with the Minister of Defense of the Italian Republic, Guido Crosetto, and exchanged detailed views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

It should be noted that the International Maritime Defence Exhibition is being held with the participation of the Navy Commanders of 25 countries, delegations of 36 countries and heads of various leading defence industry companies.
