Azerbaijani Navy commander visits Italian Naval Fleet PHOTO

Azerbaijani Navy Commander Vice Admiral Subhan Bagirov has visited the Italian Republic's navy and became acquainted with the combat control point.

At the meeting with the leadership of the Navy, a thorough exchange of views took place on the prospects for the development of cooperation between the Naval Forces of the two countries, as well as on a number of issues of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

Bakirov met Italian Navy Commander Admiral Enrico Credendino on June 6.

He conveyed greetings from Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov to his Italian counterpart and expressed gratitude for the invitation to the 8th International Exhibition Seafuture 2023.

During the meeting a detailed exchange of views on the prospects of cooperation between the navies of Azerbaijan and Italy in the military, military-educational and other fields, as well as on a number of issues of mutual interest took place.
