Azerbaijani NGOs protest against Caucasus Heritage Watch's biased report
Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations operating in the fields of science, history and culture have sent a letter of protest in connection with the report "Caucasus Heritage Watch: 2nd Special Report", prepared with the support of Cornell University and Purdue University, as well as the Ford Foundation.
Report informs that the letter highlights that two of the individuals involved in preparation of the report are Armenians, while others are known for their pro-Armenian positions, so it is not surprising to see such a distorted report.
The letter also provided detailed information about the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia and its consequences: “If representatives of universities and the Foundation want to conduct research in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, they can be assisted in creating appropriate conditions.”
To recap, the second special report of Caucasus Heritage Watch does not cover the crimes committed against the material and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan during the 30-year occupation of Karabakh by Armenia.
