Azerbaijani, North Macedonian foreign ministers prepare for key Baku talks
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, and his North Macedonian counterpart, Timcho Mucunski, are set to meet in Baku on March 12 to explore opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation.
Mucunski made the announcement via a Facebook post, outlining the significance of the upcoming discussions, Caliber.Az reports.
The meeting follows a visit by North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova to Azerbaijan on March 11, during which she engaged in a productive and friendly conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Mucunski, the discussions between Siljanovska-Davkova and Aliyev focused on strengthening bilateral ties and examining potential collaboration in several key sectors, including energy, education, science, and tourism. Both leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing trade relations and increasing investment in strategic sectors.
Building on these discussions, Mucunski expressed optimism about the upcoming talks with Bayramov, where the two foreign ministers are expected to discuss additional initiatives to further deepen cooperation between the two countries.
