Azerbaijani officer graduates from NATO regional cooperation course PHOTO

An Azerbaijani Army officer has completed the NATO Regional Cooperation Course at the organisation’s Defence College in Rome, Italy.

Lieutenant Colonel Farman Mammadov took part in the ten-week programme, which brings together military personnel and officials from NATO member and partner countries to strengthen strategic thinking and promote regional and international security cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.

The 34th edition of the course included lectures, seminars and field studies focused on contemporary security challenges and mechanisms of international collaboration.

At a ceremony marking the conclusion of the programme, graduates were awarded diplomas by the NATO Defence College leadership.
