Azerbaijani ombudsman condemns Armenian attack on its Cultural Centre in Paris

Azerbaijani Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva has issued a statement in protest against the Armenians’ attack on the Cultural Centre of the Azerbaijani embassy in Paris, France.

“A group of Armenians attacked the Cultural Centre of the Azerbaijani embassy in Paris and tried to commit a provocation to prevent the demonstration of the film entitled ‘Road leading to Karabakh’,” the Ombudsman's Office told Report.

“We condemn Armenia’s criminal actions directed against Azerbaijan, as well as members of Azerbaijani communities in foreign countries, we urge the Armenian side to fulfill its obligations, and respect human rights and freedoms,” the message said.
