Azerbaijani, Pakistani top diplomats review regional security situation

Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation on March 12 with Muhammad Ishaq Dar to discuss regional security developments and bilateral cooperation between their countries.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the two officials addressed the current security situation in the region and the growing military escalation in the Middle East.

The ministers also discussed issues related to cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

During the conversation, the sides highly assessed the strategic partnership between Baku and Islamabad, reviewed plans for future contacts, and exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
