Azerbaijani parliament speaker bids farewell to outgoing Turkish ambassador
On January 24, the Speaker of Azerbaijan's of the Milli Majlis (parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, met with outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahit Bagchi in Baku as he concluded his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The meeting included an exchange of views on the relationship between the two nations and inter-parliamentary cooperation, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
During the discussion, it was highlighted that Ambassador Bağcı had worked effectively to further strengthen ties between the two brotherly countries during his tenure in Azerbaijan.
Expressing gratitude for the support and attention he received, Bağcı reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to the Azerbaijan-Türkiye partnership and brotherhood in the future.
Notably, the outgoing Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagchi, has held the position since May 3, 2021.
