Azerbaijani Parliament speaker's visit to Switzerland begins

A parliamentary delegation headed by Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova has arrived on a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland.

The delegation was welcomed at Geneva International Airport by Azerbaijan's permanent representative to the UN Geneva Office and other international organizations Galib Israfilov and other officials, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press and public relations department of the Parliament.

Within the visit, Sahib Ghafarova will take part in the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the third conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement and the coordination meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

The delegation includes MPs Elnur Allahverdiyev, Soltan Mammadov, Sevil Mikailova, Kyamran Bayramov, Amina Aghazade, Shahin Ismayilov and Sabina Hasayeva, as well as Head of the Parliamentary Staff Farid Hajiyev and other officials.
