Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker to participate in CIS PA meeting in Uzbekistan

On October 26, a parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova left for a working visit to the city of Samarkand (Uzbekistan) to participate in the meeting of the Council and the 54th plenary meeting of the CIS PA.

At the Samarkand International Airport the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament was met by Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, Secretary General of the Council of the CIS PA Dmitry Kobitsky, Ambassador of Azzerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and other officials, APA reports quoting the press service of the Azerbaijani Parliament.

During the visit, S.Gafarova will take part in the meeting of the Council and the plenary meeting of the CIS PA, will hold a number of meetings with the heads of delegations of the countries participating in the event.

The working visit will end on October 28.
