Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker updates Singaporean president on COP29 preparations

Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova discussed COP29 preparations with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

Milli Majlis Press and Public Relations Department told Report that Gafarova highlighted the importance of political exchanges, mutual visits, and meetings in fostering bilateral relations.

She emphasized the solid foundation of trade and economic connections between Azerbaijan and Singapore, which paves the way for expanded cooperation.

Gafarova also briefed the Singaporean president on the regional situation and the ongoing peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In response, Shanmugaratnam assured that his country will have significant participation at COP29.
