Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation discusses strengthening ties with UK’s Lord PHOTO

The Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation has recently met with Lord John Mann, a member of the British House of Lords and a representative of the Labour Party, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

The Azerbaijani delegation included Chairman of the International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee Samad Seyidov and MP Asim Mollazade, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

During the meeting, Seyidov underscored the importance of maintaining robust political and parliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and the UK, expressing confidence in the future development and deepening of these ties. He also stressed the mutual benefits of continued cooperation.

Mollazade added that Azerbaijan is committed to fostering relationships with its international partners based on human rights, freedom, and mutual respect. 

Lord John Mann highlighted the significance of bilateral visits in strengthening ties and fostering closer cooperation between the two nations. The meeting also covered other issues of mutual interest, furthering the dialogue between the Azerbaijani delegation and the UK’s representatives.
