Azerbaijani parliamentary speaker arrives in Belém ahead of COP30 climate talks

Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Speaker, Sahiba Gafarova, has arrived in the city of Belém, Brazil, for a working visit to participate in the COP30 climate conference.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Brazil, Rashad Novruz, and other senior officials welcomed Gafarova at Belém airport, Caliber.Az reports citing the parliament’s press service,

During the conference, the Azerbaijani delegation is set to take part in a range of sessions and events, engaging with international counterparts on pressing climate issues.
