Azerbaijani people re-elected their worthy leader – Ukrainian pundit

Ukrainian political scientist Oleksiy Buriachenko has told AZERTAC that in response to the patriotism and activity of Ilham Aliyev the people of Azerbaijan re-elected their worthy leader at the snap presidential election.

Recalling that according to the results of exit poll President Ilham Aliyev again won the election with an overwhelming majority of votes, the political scientist congratulated the head of state on his re-election. "I would like to emphasize that Ilham Aliyev won with an overwhelming majority of votes. His closest competitor gained only about 2 per cent of the votes. This is an indicator of great support by the  Azerbaijani people for the leader," the pundit emphasized.

The political scientist added that after many years Azerbaijan has restored its territorial integrity and has gone through several difficult wars. "The country has overcome a difficult path to its dream, to the restoration of justice. The author of this achievement is Ilham Aliyev. And I think that in the election the Azerbaijani people responded worthily to Ilham Aliyev's patriotism and activity," the expert said, also wishing the Azerbaijani president new successes.
