Azerbaijani PM holds key meetings at D-8 summit in Cairo
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a series of important meetings during the 11th summit of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization in Cairo.
According to a report from the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister Asadov engaged in discussions with several key leaders, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
These meetings were part of the broader diplomatic activities at the summit, which focused on strengthening economic cooperation among the member states of the D-8 organization.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed the heads of state, government leaders, and delegations to the event.
Founded in 1997, the D-8 group aims to promote economic cooperation among its member states, which include Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Türkiye.
Egypt will chair the D8 until the end of next year.
