Azerbaijani PM meets Belarusian parliament speaker, discusses WUF13

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Igor Sergeyenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, during which the two sides discussed the importance of holding the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

The Cabinet of Ministers said the officials expressed confidence that the event would serve as a key platform for strengthening international partnerships on the future development of cities amid global challenges, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The two sides also praised the level of intergovernmental relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, noting that mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields is developing thanks to the joint efforts of the presidents of both countries.
