Azerbaijani PM meets with Jordanian Senate chairman

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Chairman of the Senate of Jordan Faisal Al-Fayez on July 1.

The meeting emphasised the significance of the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, Report informs.

The officials noted that Azerbaijani-Jordanian relations are developing in various directions and that the countries are effectively cooperating within international organisations, primarily under the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the NAM, and the UN.

In addition, issues of expanding trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan, mutual investment opportunities, and promotion of business ties, as well as prospects for cooperation in various fields were discussed at the meeting.
