Azerbaijani PM, Turkic States chief focus on wide-range agenda
A wide range of issues aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and Azerbaijan were discussed during a meeting between high-ranking officials. OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev was welcomed in Baku by Ali Asadov, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, who currently holds the chairmanship of the organization.
According to information released by the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation within the OTS, as reported by Caliber.Az, emphasizing the organization’s growing role as a multilateral platform.
Officials noted that in recent years, collaboration among OTS member states has expanded significantly across political, economic, transport, energy, and humanitarian sectors.
During the discussions, it was also highlighted that Azerbaijan will continue to work to enhance the OTS’s international standing during its chairmanship, reinforcing the country’s commitment to regional cooperation and multilateral initiatives.
