Azerbaijani presidential aide engages in candid talks with Italian PM’s advisor

Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the Azerbaijani President and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has engaged in diplomatic discussion with Fabrizio Saggio, Italy's diplomatic adviser to the Prime Minister.

Hajiyev took to social media platform X to announce the meeting, describing it as a candid and open dialogue, Caliber.Az reports.

"In the margins of the visit backroom diplomacy (kuluar diplomatiyasl) in an open and sincere manner with the diplomatic advisor of PM Giorgia Meloni, Ambassador Fabrizio Saggio," the post by Hajiyev reads.
