Azerbaijani presidential aide holds key talks with UK officials to enhance strategic partnership
Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, held important meetings with British officials in London, including Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, and other key figures.
The meetings underscored the mutual commitment to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, according to Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the UK, Elin Suleymanov, who shared details of the discussions on social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.
In addition to the talks with Doughty, Hajiyev also met with Jonathan Powell, the UK National Security Adviser. The meetings focused on deepening diplomatic and strategic cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, fruitful discussions were held on strengthening the bilateral partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, as well as on regional developments.
