Azerbaijani presidential aide meets with UK state minister for defence in London

Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev has met with British Minister of State for Defense Vernon Coaker in London.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the UK Elin Suleymanov made the announcement in a post on his X account, Caliber.Az reports. 

“Thank you Minister Vernon Coaker, for your warm welcome to Azerbaijani president's aide Hikmet Hajiyev in the UK!” the ambassador wrote.

To recall, yesterday, March 10, Hajiyev held important meetings with British officials in London, including Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, the UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, and other key figures.

The meetings underscored the mutual commitment to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom. Deepening diplomatic and strategic cooperation between the two nations, as wellas regional developments were also discussed at the meeting.
