Azerbaijani religious leader to attend UNAOC forum in Saudi Arabia

Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO), will travel to Saudi Arabia on December 13.

According to the CMO he will take part in the 11th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilisations, scheduled for December 14 in Riyadh.

The forum will focus on the theme: “A New Era of Mutual Respect and Understanding in Dialogue for Humanity in a Multipolar World.”

Sheikh-ul-Islam Pashazade has been invited to the prestigious event by the UN Alliance of Civilisations’ High Representative, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, and is expected to deliver a keynote address.

During the forum, the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office is also planning to hold several bilateral meetings.
