Azerbaijani rep briefs NATO deputy chief on normalisation with Armenia

Jafar Huseynzade, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO, has met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană.

During the meeting, a useful exchange of views took place on the partnership between NATO and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's contribution to international peace and security, including energy, Azertag reports.

Huseynzade informed the interlocutor about the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and about the situation in the region.

NATO Deputy Secretary General asked to convey his sincere greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
