Azerbaijani reservists sharpen skills in intense training sessions PHOTO/VIDEO
Azerbaijan’s reserve military conscripts are gearing up for a year of heightened readiness with their 2025 training program, currently in full swing.
In collaboration with the State Service for Mobilization and Recruitment, the Ministry of Defence is running comprehensive training sessions designed to sharpen both the mind and body of the reservists, Caliber.Az reports.
The training kicked off with a series of socio-political lessons aimed at strengthening discipline and boosting the moral-psychological state of the conscripts. From there, it transitioned into medical training, where participants honed vital first aid skills through hands-on exercises, learning how to respond swiftly and effectively in crisis situations.
But the real action came when the focus shifted to firearms training. Conscripts delved into the technical and tactical aspects of small arms and grenade launchers, learning the ins and outs of these powerful tools. They didn’t just study them — they put their knowledge to the test with practical shooting drills, refining their accuracy and handling under pressure.
The overarching goal of this rigorous training camp is clear: to enhance the skills of the conscripts and ensure they remain combat-ready, prepared for any challenge that may come their way. Through these hands-on, high-intensity sessions, Azerbaijan is building a more disciplined, skilled, and resilient reserve force.
