Azerbaijani scientists invent new demining equipment

Scientists of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) have invented new mine-clearing equipment.

The announcement came from the ANAS president, academician Isa Habibbayli speaking on the occasion of Science Day, APA reports.

He stressed the importance to test with the support of ANAMA a new invention that detects radioactivity and can contribute to the demining of the country’s territories, liberated from decades-long Armenian occupation in 2020.
