Azerbaijani senior official, UK trade envoy discuss joint efforts in reviving Karabakh PHOTO
The head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, and head of the coordination centre for issues in the liberated territories, Samir Nuriyev has hailed UK’s efficient activities in reconstruction works Azerbaijan is carrying out in the East Zangazur and Karabakh economic regions.
He made the remarks at a meeting with Baroness Emma Nicholson, Trade Envoy of the British Prime Minister to Azerbaijan, who is on a visit to Baku, Azertag reports.
During the meeting, it was noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UK, based on friendship and multidisciplinary partnership, are developing successfully.
The two countries’ significant achievements in oil and gas, green energy, trade, transport, education and other areas were noted.
The parties also noted the two countries’ cooperation in urban development and demining, and said that under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, large-scale reconstruction work is being actively pursued in the liberated territories.
