Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia strengthen defence cooperation at Eternity-2024 exercises PHOTO
The Azerbaijani State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects has announced that multinational command-staff exercises titled Eternity-2024, involving military personnel from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, concluded in Georgia.
During the event, a meeting was held to discuss the security of export pipelines running through Azerbaijan and Georgia. The focus was on enhancing cooperation among the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects Isfandiyar Mehbaliyev met with Director of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry, Colonel Zurab Chabashvili. The sides discussed experience shared between their agencies and the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The servicemen of the three countries and representatives of the relevant state organisations performed tasks in “Vaziani” training centre to protect strategically important regional economic projects.
High professionalism was demonstrated at the exercises held to strengthen mutual cooperation and ensure coherence among the Armed Forces of the participating countries.
