Azerbaijani servicemen join int’l drills in Türkiye

The Azerbaijani servicemen have joined the "Winter Training - 2023" international drills are being held in Kars, Türkiye.

Armed forces from 17 other nations, including Azerbaijan, are taking part in the drills, completing duties on numerous episodes in challenging weather and terrain, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.

The major goals of the international drills are to ensure battle coordination among the troops, to share experiences and foster professionalism, as well as to further improve the personnel's abilities in the efficient use of contemporary weapons and equipment, the ministry said.

According to the ministry, the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Combined Arms Army effectively represent the country in the international drills.
