Azerbaijani military personnel have demonstrated exceptional professionalism during the international operational-tactical command and staff exercises "Birlestik-2024".

The exercises began with the detailed planning of tasks on the map, focusing on troop movements, Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

Azerbaijani Air Force units, in collaboration with UAV units from other participating countries, conducted aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles to identify ground targets of the simulated enemy.

Ground forces of the Azerbaijani Army then launched an offensive at the training ground, successfully overcoming resistance from the simulated enemy. They effectively neutralized enemy personnel and military equipment.

Additionally, Azerbaijani commando units participated by infiltrating deep into the rear of the simulated enemy. Their missions included securing key positions, controlling strategic heights and routes, as well as providing first aid and evacuating wounded personnel from the battlefield.

Overall, "Birlestik-2024" underscored Azerbaijan's military preparedness, emphasizing strategic planning, operational efficiency, and the integration of advanced technologies in military exercises aimed at enhancing national defence capabilities.

The joint operational-tactical command and staff exercises are slated to continue until July 17, aiming to bolster regional cooperation and enhance interoperability among the armed forces of the participating nations.
