Azerbaijani servicemen taking part in tank biathlon

Moscow is hosting the eighth tank biathlon competition, which started as part of the International Army Games.

A total of 22 countries participate in the competition, Report informs.

In the individual race of the crews of the first division, Azerbaijan participated in a competition with tankers from Mongolia.

The first division included teams from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Russia and Uzbekistan.

Based on the results of the races of all participants, 8 teams of the first division semi-finalists will be determined.

Within the framework of the international military games, Azerbaijani servicemen also take part as guests of honour at the exhibition of the army culture of the contest participants.

Colonel Habib Mammadov noted that Azerbaijan presented a special stand at the competition: "Many guests come to the stand, to whom we tell about Azerbaijan, about the valiant feat of the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The guests of our stand also receive symbolic gifts."

A total of 37 countries are participating in the 2022 International Military Games. The Military Games will last until August 27.
