Azerbaijani, Slovak FMs discuss issues on bilateral agenda PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium to participate in the Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers meeting, has met with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar.
During the meeting, Bayramov conveyed his congratulations to the Slovak minister on his appointment and wished him success in his activity, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The sides hailed the current level of relations developing in the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia. They noted that the existing political dialogue, reciprocal visits and contacts have made an important contribution to the development of the relations between the two countries.
They discussed the issues on agenda between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in trade, economy, energy security, culture, tourism, education, transport and other spheres, including elements of regional and international security.
The intention of Slovak companies to participate in joint investment, restoration and construction projects in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions was highly appreciated.
The sides exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
