Azerbaijani speaker arrives in Istanbul for high-level parliamentary engagements

Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova has arrived in Istanbul on a working visit to take part in the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the 5th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network (NAM PN).

As Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani parliament, Gafarova was welcomed at Atatürk International Airport by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov, Consul General in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva, and other officials.

During the visit, Gafarova is expected to hold a series of meetings with heads of parliamentary delegations participating in the international events.
