Azerbaijani special forces join multinational drills in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is hosting joint multinational special forces exercises named "Eternal Brotherhood-III" in accordance with the 2024 bilateral military cooperation plan between the Azerbaijani and Kazakh defence ministries.

Azerbaijani special forces are currently in Kazakhstan to participate in these exercises. The drills are being held at the Orda training ground in the Turkistan region and are scheduled to run until September 19, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

Earlier, under the joint plan signed among the defence ministries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the solemn opening ceremony of “Birlestik-2024” international operational-tactical command-staff exercise was held in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
