Azerbaijani, Tajik PMs hail importance of high-level visits

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, as part of a working visit to Dushanbe, met with Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda on September 29.

Asadov thanked the Tajik government for holding the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev in Tajikistan at a high level, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

The sides noted the importance of high-level visits and meetings in strengthening interstate ties between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

In this context, the importance of the Azerbaijani President’s state visit to Tajikistan in April 2023 was noted.

The current level and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in specific spheres of the economy were reviewed.
