Azerbaijani top diplomat, Turkish parliamentarian discuss security cooperation
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received a delegation of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye headed by Chairman of the National Defense Commission Hulusi Akar.
Caliber.Az reports that the agenda of dynamic cooperation between Azerbaijan and brotherly Türkiye, as well as issues of inter-parliamentary ties and security cooperation, were widely discussed during the meeting.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized with satisfaction the intensive development of relations of strategic alliance between the brotherly countries and stressed the importance of mutual visits for these relations.
The sides emphasized the close cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Shusha Declaration in all areas, particularly in the field of security, and the existence of a wide potential for the development of these ties.
Hulusi Akar, in his turn, thanked for the hospitality and friendly reception and expressed satisfaction with the level of mutual support that the two countries provide to each other on all platforms, as well as with the prospects of inter-parliamentary relations.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
