Azerbaijani top official discusses digital governance with global tech representatives

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, held a series of meetings with representatives of TikTok, LinkedIn, and Dharana Digital on the sidelines of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.

Hajiyev announced the meetings in a post on X, describing the discussions as productive and focused on expanding cooperation in the digital sphere, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

We discussed expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan, digital governance, and the implementation of Azerbaijan's new legislation to better protect children online, while exchanging views on international best practices," Hajiyev said.
