The computer-assisted joint command-staff exercise Maharat-2025 (Mastery), conducted with the participation of the Azerbaijani Army, has concluded successfully in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
As part of the exercise, Azerbaijani servicemen participated in planning and executing tasks focused on special operations, including the search, location, and neutralisation of illegal armed detachments. Practical activities were carried out using advanced modelling and simulation software to enhance operational readiness, Caliber.Az reports via the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
During the exercise, cultural and mass events were organised, allowing the Azerbaijani contingent to visit the monument complex of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as Tashkent’s Victory Park and the State Museum of Glory, commemorating the heroism of the Uzbek people during the Second World War.
The exercise was held within the framework of the 2025 bilateral military cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. All assigned tasks were successfully accomplished, demonstrating effective coordination and interoperability between the two armed forces.
At the conclusion of Maharat-2025, servicemen who distinguished themselves during the exercise were formally awarded for their performance.
