Azerbaijani, Turkish commanders exchange views on expanding military partnership PHOTO
Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister, Land Forces Commander, Colonel General Hikmat Mirzayev has recently met with a Turkish delegation led by Commander of the 1st Army, Army General Metin Tokel to discuss the current status and future prospects of Azerbaijani-Turkish military cooperation during their official visit to Azerbaijan.
Both parties underscored the importance of conducting joint military exercises that integrate cutting-edge technological innovations to enhance the capabilities and expertise of servicemen from both allied nations, Caliber.Az reports via the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
Additional topics of mutual interest were also discussed. As part of the visit, the Turkish delegation toured the War Games Centre at the Military Scientific-Research Institute of Azerbaijan’s National Defence University. During their visit, detailed briefings were delivered, followed by in-depth discussions aimed at sharing knowledge and operational experience.
