Azerbaijani, Turkish communities hold rally against fictitious Armenian genocide in Washington PHOTO

A solidarity action against the lies about the so-called "genocide" of Armenians was held in front of the Turkish Embassy in the United States on April 24.

The action under the slogan "Let's End Armenian Lies" was organised by the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC), Report informs.

TASC spokesman Mohammed Sami Görgülü said the purpose of the action was to expose the lies of the Armenian lobby.

"Some states trying to secure their political and economic interests by recognising the allegations of the so-called Armenian genocide are using this as a means to pressure Türkiye. The international community should know that the allegations of 'genocide' are lies," he emphasised.

Activists of Turkish and Azerbaijani communities living in the American capital took part in the action.
