Azerbaijani, Turkish defence chiefs mull regional security PHOTO/UPDATED
Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on an official visit to Ankara, has had a meeting with Turkish Defence Minister Yashar Guler.
Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that the meeting was attended by delegations from both countries and Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov.
Addressing his interlocutors, Yashar Guler expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries, based on mutual trust and support, would continue to develop successfully.
Zakir Hasanov thanked the Turkish side for having hosted him. He stressed that sincere relations between the Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents positively affect all spheres, including military cooperation.
The meeting discussed the prospects of developing military, military-technical, military-educational and other relations, regional security issues and other issues of mutual interest.
