Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs discuss embassy terror attack in Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has called Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss the January 27 deadly terror attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.

During the conversation, Cavusoglu strongly condemned the treacherous terrorist attack. He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased embassy employee and the entire Azerbaijani people in connection with the tragic incident. Cavusoglu stressed that Azerbaijan is not alone, Türkiye is always close to fraternal Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

Bayramov thanked Cavusoglu for solidarity and noted that Azerbaijan will make every effort to bring to justice the perpetrators of the terrorist act and their patrons as soon as possible.
