Azerbaijani, Turkish militaries hold regular meetings
Regular meetings are held between high-ranking military officials of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, according to the Head of the Turkish Strategic Thinking Institute (SDI), Maj-Gen of Reserve, Associate Professor Guray Alpar.
The expansion of relations between the Armed Forces of both countries is a fact, Alpar told Report.
"Thanks to the mutual understanding in the military sphere that has developed between the two brotherly countries, an effective form of cooperation has been established. Our armies have the same system of training and armament. The Azerbaijani army has become the strongest army in the region, acting together with the Turkish army.
Recently, Azerbaijan has successfully implemented the structural changes necessary to create a fast and effective army. The armies of both countries have learned a lot and continue to learn from each other. Meetings and trainings are held at all levels, including with the participation of senior officers of our countries," he stressed.
The general noted that the contribution of political, military and strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye to the preservation of peace in the region is obvious.
