Azerbaijani-Turkish relations exemplify global solidarity State Committee chairman says

Azerbaijani-Turkish relations stand as a global example of brotherhood, unity, and solidarity, said Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, during a meeting in the Turkish Parliament.

Mammadov emphasized that the strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, under the leadership of the two countries’ presidents, has reached unprecedented heights, Report informs.

He highlighted the continuous development of interstate relations in the religious sphere, among other areas, as mutually beneficial for both nations. He also noted the rising Islamophobic tendencies in some regions and the regulatory challenges related to religious issues, underscoring the necessity for expanded mutual consultations and experience sharing.

Samil Ayrim, head of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, reinforced the significance of the brotherly relations between the two countries. Ayrim noted that reciprocal visits and engagements contribute to further strengthening of ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
