Azerbaijani, Uzbek ambassadors to Israel discuss bilateral relations
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Israel Mukhtar Mammadov and his Uzbek counterpart Jahongir Aminov discussed the development of bilateral relations between Baku and Tashkent, according to the X page of the Uzbek Embassy in Israel.
“H.E. the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel Mr. J.Aminov held a friendly and productive meeting with H.E. the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Mr. M.Mammadov. The discussion focused on the development of bilateral relations and explored opportunities for joint events between the two embassies,” the embassy posted, Caliber.Az reports.
Note that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have significantly strengthened their bilateral relations in recent years, culminating in the signing of a Treaty on Allied Relations on August 23, 2024. This treaty, endorsed by Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, marks a historic milestone, elevating the partnership between the two nations to an allied status.
