Azerbaijani, Uzbek officers holding UZAZ-2023 digital training exercises PHOTO
The Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have launched joint UZAZ-2023 computer-assisted tactical command-staff exercises.
According to the bilateral cooperation plan for 2023 signed between the defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the servicemen of the two states fulfilled the tasks of organizing and planning special combat activities on a computer and a map at the first stage of the joint exercises held at the Chirchiq training range of the Tashkent region, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
“The main objectives of the exercises are to conduct a mutual exchange of experience, organize interoperability between the servicemen of both states, improve the staff officers’ skills in making decisions on the map, as well as to further increase the level of their professionalism and training,” the ministry stated.
