Azerbaijani web resources mostly hacked by Armenia

Baku-based expert of the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications Masuma Talibova has said that the largest number of hacker attacks in Azerbaijan is committed by Armenia.

She made the statement at a Baku conference "Cyber-secure economy: reforms, innovative approaches and solutions", Report informs.

According to the analyst, during the recent Armenian provocations on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, Armenia has committed over 2,000 cyber attacks.

"In 2020, the year of the Second Karabakh War, the number of cyber-attacks [by Armenian on Azerbaijan] increased by 4.3 times," she said, adding that cyber attacks hit the country's economy.

"Despite this, Azerbaijan is effectively defending itself and resisting cyber attacks," Talibova added.
